Johnson & Johnson in collaboration with Deloitte, famed illustrator Chidiebere Ibe, and the Association of Medical Illustrators, recently unveiled a comprehensive, diverse medical illustration library to represent communities of color across a range of health conditions. The illustrations embrace all races, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities and backgrounds, ensuring that everyone can see themselves in the health and social care materials they encounter.
PCHI applauds J&J on the development of such an important tool. We are working to incorporate these resources into our own materials moving forward to better represent all populations as we work together to further health equity in communities across the U.S.
